BIM: An Introduction

BIM, as a core part of digitization, is at the foundation of change in our industry.  BIM enables increased collaboration, increased analytics to support sustainability, and the potential to implement increased levels of automation.  McKinsey and Company’s Imagining Construction’s Digital Future (2016) provides an interesting perspective on the importance of our industry to change to increased levels of digitalization.  Please read this report and view the accompanying infographic.
